Tricia moved to Canada from Australia with her adventurous family back in the seventies. After living in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Iqaluit in Nunavut, and Whitehorse in the Yukon, she serendipitously ended up in picturesque Victoria, British Columbia, where she studied photojournalism at the Western Academy of Photography. She furthered her studies there to obtain an MA in Communications from Royal Roads University.  Originally a teacher of the deaf, writing and photography soon became a central part of her life. She has authored P.S. Love Me: The War Memoirs of Flight Sergeant Ed Gallagher, a collection of diary entries, letters and poems written by her father, as well as five editions of British Columbia Off the Beaten Path published by Globe Pequot Press. In 2014, she opted for a lifestyle change by  moving to funky Nelson, the coolest little city in the Kootenays, where pickleball is her new passion. She avoids winters by spending the cooler months on the Central Coast of New South Wales or travelling to other warm climes.
