As a photojournalist and an avid traveler, Tricia enjoys unearthing and photographing the world's most off-the-beaten-path treasures. She has found photographic delights in Australia, New Zealand, Guatemala, the US, Canada, Honduras, Malawi, South Africa, Mexico, China, Ethiopia, Cambodia, Thailand, Mexico, Belize, India, Vietnam, Nepal, Europe, the Philippines, Indonesia, Brunei, and Laos. Tricia is Australian by birth. When living downunder, she was a teacher of the deaf in Brisbane. She moved to Canada with her adventurous family in the seventies. After living in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Iqaluit in Nunavut, and Whitehorse in the Yukon, she serendipitously ended up in picturesque Victoria, British Columbia, where she studied Photojournalism at the Western Academy of Photography. She furthered her studies to obtain an MA in Communication from Royal Roads University. As well as photography, she enjoys web design and writing - she has authored five editions of British Columbia Off the Beaten Path, a travel guide for those, who, like her, enjoy venturing down the road less travelled.
