Tricia is Australian by birth. When living downunder, she was a teacher of the deaf in Brisbane. She moved to Canada with her adventurous family in the seventies. After living in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Iqaluit in Nunavut, and Whitehorse in the Yukon, she serendipitously ended up in picturesque Victoria, British Columbia, where she studied Photojournalism at the Western Academy of Photography. She furthered her studies there to obtain an MA in Communication from Royal Roads University. She now resides in the pretty mountain city of Nelson, BC.  As well as photography, she enjoys web design and writing - she has authored P.S. Love Me? The War Memoirs of Flight Sergeant Ed Gallagher, ", a collection of diary entries, letters and poems written by her father, as well as five editions of British Columbia Off the Beaten Path, a travel guide for those, who, like her, enjoy venturing down the road less travelled. In 2014, she moved to Nelson, BC, in the delightful West Kootenays.
