Seen commonly throughout
the forests of Eastern Australia and South Australia, the rainbow
lorikeet is also a common sight in urban areas. It is very
noisy, and is often seen in large flocks making high pitched screeching
sounds.

Found
in south-eastern Australia, from central Queensland to Eyre Peninsula
(South Australia) as well as Tasmania, the uncommonly seen yellow-tailed
black cockatoo inhabits well-timbered areas, from closed forest
to open woodlands
