PRINT PRICING The following indicates typical print pricing. Most images can be printed in larger sizes. Discounts of 25% are offered for additional identical prints of the same image. Prints are professionally printed on stunning supergloss, or surreal matte finish photographic paper. WEB USE OF PHOTO-J IMAGES: To order, follow the same directions outlined above. At Photo-J Inc. you do not actually "buy" an image, rather you license the right to use it in a specified manner. The price for each image depends on how you are going to use the image. There are three different licences available:

NON-COMMERCIAL Image use is personal or used by Non-Profit, Government, Educational, and Religious Organizations with annual budgets (including fund-raising, tuition, and other financial subsidies) under $1,000,000.	PERSONAL GRAPHICS OR PERSONAL WEB PAGE (includes non-profits with a budget under $1 million). Cannot be used for any business use. Image licence is for one year or part thereof. Image use is NOT for promotion of self or home-based business. Image use is NOT for a commercial project or product. Image may NOT be incorporated in a product or artwork to be resold. Non-Commercial Web pages have no commercial promotional intent. Examples of acceptable use might be family newsletters or wedding announcements. Other uses must be Non-commercial in nature. Acceptable uses include saving the image on the User's computer for personal enjoyment, utilizing the image on the User's computer as a screen-saver or for screen wallpaper, sending the image as an e-mail greeting, printing and displaying the image, creating a greeting card, and using the image in desktop publishing projects. No licence is granted to use the image for commercial purposes, for personal promotion, for commercial or professional Web pages, or for incorporating in artwork, such as montage, computer animation, or 3-D rendering.	$25.00
SMALL BUSINESS & SMALL NON-PROFITS Image use is for company with gross sales under $1,000,000.	SMALL BUSINESS WEB USE Image licence is for single use. Image licence is for one year or part thereof. Image may NOT be incorporated in a product or artwork to be resold. Image use is for: Web site illustration, or Electronic Presentation, or in printed pieces where fewer than 10,000 copies are produced in total, or advertising insertions in magazines or newspapers where total circulation is fewer than 10,000 (all insertions) at no greater than 1/4 page in size. Suggested print uses are small runs of printed brochures, corporate or sales newsletters, sales promotions, catalogs, postcards, and limited run publications, and may not be resold, incorporated in a product or in artwork that is resold.	$45.00
CORPORATE LARGE NON-PROFITS Image use is for company with gross sales over $1,000,000 or a non-profit organization with a budget over $1,000,000	CORPORATE ELECTRONIC PRESENTATION (includes non-profits with a budget over $1 million) Image licence is for single use. Image licence is for one year of part thereof. Image use is for: Web site illustration, or, Electronic Presentation Image may NOT be incorporated in a product or artwork to be resold. The image may be used for presentations to a limited audience where no admission fee is charged; to enhance an electronic tour of a product or company; in a training product; or in a sales presentation.	$75.00
Upgrades to these licences: Upgrades are available for more extensive uses of these same images and for uses not specified here, such as incorporating the image in a product for resale, or using the image as software, CD or book cover art, or for print runs of more than 10,000 pieces. Upgrades feature high resolution image files and on average, prices usually begin at approximately $150 and range upwards depending on the specifics of your project.
Web use: Once you've completed your payment transaction, Photo-J Inc. grants you a one-year licence for this electronic Image in the following size and resolution: 72 DPI, approximately 1105 x 737 pixels, 2MB, 150k compressed. Copyright on the image(s) purchased for licence remains the property of Tricia Timmermans of Photo-J Inc. The images are protected from unauthorized use or reproduction by the copyright laws of Canada and the United States and the provisions of the Berne Convention. Accordingly, you agree not to project, copy, store, modify, or use any of the images, in whole or in part, without the express written permission of Tricia Timmermans or to allow any third party to do any of the foregoing. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tricia Timmermans against any and all claims, costs and expenses, including attorney's fees, arising from any unauthorized use of an Image, including uses where no model release or property release has been provided to you or where the use exceeds the use permitted by the release. You may not use any Image in any manner, or in connection with any material, that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes any trade or service marks, rights of privacy or publicity, or other rights of third parties. PHOTOGRAPHIC BUSINESS CARD PRICING (SAMPLES) Supply your own image, or choose from any of the images on the Photo-J Inc. site. Setup charge for DOUBLE-SIDED Business Cards: $ 65.00 excluding taxes. Setup includes 2 hours of graphic design, 1 proof. Proof will be supplied via email. Printing Charges (excluding taxes) for Full-Color, DOUBLE-SIDED Business Cards including image use if applicable: 1,000 ...... 199.00 4,000 ...... 399.00 There are no setup charges for additional printing of existing files. There is a $25.00 charge if a new file must be made because of text changes, e.g., name, address, phone, etc. If a card must be completely redesigned, the $65.00 setup charge will be in effect. TOP
Proofreading and copy editing printed and web-based documents Proofreading is a final review of your work to eliminate errors. It ensures that your document is technically correct in spelling, language usage, and grammar. Editing goes a step further. It combines proofreading with revision to enhance the clarity and flow of the document. It includes amending errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation, plus your document will be analysed for sensibility, tone, and layout. Advice will be given on sentence structure and proper word usage. Send your document as an attachment to photo-j@shaw.ca and we will provide a quote for your approval. Rates: Proofreading $30.00 per hour. One hour minimum charge Copy editing $40.00 per hour.
